The Library as a place of study
The Arrhenius Library offers 28 individual study areas. Eight
locations have computers with internet access, the Office suite and
printing facilities.
There is a copier which also functions as a printer and
scanner.
Borrowing
To borrow books from Arrhenius Library, you need a library card
from the University Library. You can find out all you need to know
about how to borrow
items, loan periods and borrowing rules.
Books and journals not kept at the Arrhenius Library can be
borrowed from other libraries if you are a student, researcher,
lecturer or staff member at Stockholm University. However, as a
student, you are not eligible for interlibrary loans of material
that is available at a library in the greater Stockholm area.

Purchase suggestions
You are welcome to send your purchase suggestions to arrheniusbiblioteket@sub.su.se.
Indicate the author, title, and publication year, and whether you
want to borrow the book when it arrives.
Collections Description
The Arrhenius Library's books are mainly in the areas of biology
and chemistry. The books are arranged in different collections
(Biology, Chemistry and Annual sequence) and are searchable in the
library catalogue.
The loan period is four weeks.
The library's journals and series are arranged in alphabetical
order based on the journal or series title. These items may not be
borrowed, but you are allowed to copy from them.
All article orders are made via arrheniusbiblioteket@sub.su.se.
The library's textbook collection contains books that are set
course literature at the departments of biology and chemistry. The
loan period for course literature is one week.
